Ok, I just finished 11th grade, and this was the last year I officially had Mr. Hillegas. Mr. Hillegas is probably in the top 3 best and kindest teachers I've ever had, and after next year, it will be hard to ever see him again.
You know, you make connections with people. Same deal with my physics teacher, Mr. Schoppe. I will miss both of them incredibly. I really liked and respected them, and both of them taught me more than I could have ever asked (though I never did ask Mr. Schoppe why glass was clear...)
I literally finished this dragon in one day, over a period of about 6 hours. I didn't know how to use watercolor so well, so it ended up like this.
About 18" by 24", I would say. Pen, watercolor, acrylic, and some colored pencil.
I gave Mr. Hillegas this dragon at the end of school today. It is a luck dragon, so hopefully it will bring him luck.
I had a lot of help from
who helped me shrink and resize the picture so there was no black table behind it
